Truelythevs

A very very warm welcome... again to you all, new and the regular readers, hello.

It feels amazing to be blogging again, and I'm serious when I tell you, I would like to give this blog another shot. As you all may know this blog hasn't been the most consistent as it used to be and the honest truth was because I was unhappy the way my blog looked. I knew it missed something and being a full time student and constantly busy either meeting coursework deadlines to revising for upcoming exams my blog became neglected.

As I would log onto my blogger account, I was really put off by the emptiness and not looking up to scratch as I imagined it to be (& if you know me you'll know I'm a bit of a perfectionist) & slowly but surely it kinda disappeared, and the desire to write a blog faded.

I am now on my summer holidays and so after 2 years I finally made that decision to revamp my blog entirely. I can genuinely say I'm so happy the way it turned out, the new layout and just how appealing it looks - even to myself and I want to make it easily accessible for you guys too. It took me the entire day and a lot of thought processing, coding, youtubing various tutorials; and tadaaaa..  Welcome to T R U E L Y T H E V S 2.0.

Let me know what you all think, and if you want me to write about anything feel free to suggest it below.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

I definitely need to give credit to my older sister for introducing me to this little wonder. I saw it on her instagram and I felt intrigued but never purchased my own as it was a little expensive. Funnily enough I was on the hunt for a new moisturiser myself, so I guess it was perfect timing when I ended up at her house where she kindly let me borrow the neutrogena moisturiser.

So my opinions?
I absolutely LOVE it, and having always used the tea tree cream from superdrug it was a pleasant surprise. It's a gel cream which applies smoothly on the face, not too runny nor thick so it has the perfect consistency. My skin instantly felt smooth & it's also light weight that I've noticed - with this you don't really feel like you've just applied moisturiser and one of the things I was worried about was the gel causing a crumbly feeling / clumping together on my face but that wasn't the case.
Let's not forget the amazing smell also which isn't too over powering but quite subtle which I love.
I've been using this for around 1 month now; and I haven't reacted to the product - bonus! which you all know how sensitive my skin it and this product is ideal as my face could get a little dry throughout the day and it definitely helps with keeping my skin hydrated.

This retails for £12.99 which could be purchased in Boots / Superdrug / Tesco which I know initially for me, it was quite alot.. BUT I actually bought it for £6.00 / £6.99** as every now and then it gets reduced so keep your eyes peeled for that (not entirely sure but it was less than £7.00) which is decent as the cream I used to purchase cost me £3.50 and as it was a 30 ml bottle from superdrug (it was the superdrug brand) for myself it would only last me tops 1 month and as much as I adored the product I needed something that was worth the money and did the job.

The only thing I could have hoped for would definitely be some kind of SPF. Is that even possible for a gel formulation?
Has anyone tried the neutrogena hydroboost? If so let me know what your opinions are.

Happy Birthday!!

As you may know last year was a big one! 5 0 ! After months of prep and organising, it paid off massively and obviously we are grateful to each and every single person involved with the background because without you guys none of this would have been merely possible.

So I would like to share a few special moments captured of this time last year, a memory to cherish forever:

2017, and another blessing to be able to share another birthday with her. Many of us take our mums for granted but never sit to properly appreciate them. I know that what she has done for all of us, has always been centred around us. She has been our strongest supporter with whatever we chose to do, whether it'd be the cleverest or dumbest idea.
Though she can be annoying at times, I wouldn't change her for the world. She has been a shoulder to cry on, someone to seek advice and even to have a good laugh with. I can honestly say she is perfect and a true role model to not only my family but to those around her.
She is compassionate, considerate and my best friend. No matter what obstacle or trial is thrown her way, she manages to conquer them without complaint nor grumble hence why she is a true blessing. She remains strong and true to herself and to be able to call her 'my mum' humbling would be an understatement.
And as a daughter, I have taught her a lot also. The significant lesson taught to her would be how to use social media such as Instagram and twitter.
Lots of Love from your favourite daughter.
Enjoy and God Bless.
